Your Hands

By Ayanda Xaba, South Africa

Your hands strangled the young women’s neck for denying you

Your hands teared a baby’s diaper and violated her womb

Your hands whipped another woman’s child until her internals bled

Your hands slapped the beauty out of her

Your hands stabbed the girl for having a good time with her friends

Your hands snatched her hard work and made a run for it

Your hands crushed not only weed but her spirits too

Your hands destroy

Do not touch me with those hands
