It is what it is

By Talent Mqongo:

It is what it is, the way it was and is meant to be

Even though it was written, they still get smitten

Whatever happened to the Luthered & Nelsoned Mindsets?

The days go by with soapies crack jacks

The future keeps calling still none of us answers

Is it wise of us to persist in wishing for miracles?

Judging, prosecuting, executing and condemning gifts of nature

When and how were we given a part to play in rapture?

Rapture will take its course as anticipated or better yet assured

The shoulders we once leaned on are captured

In His presence; grace, mercy and everlasting kindness

By then we are left kind-less with non-compassionate hearts,

Distorted choices which led many of us into this darkness

We find ourselves at the Altar call in expectancy of another rebirth

Not sure between us or “the pagans”, who shall go forth?
