Tears in my hands

Egan Tabaro:

Lone drink on the table

Man of my dreams seated across

I gave my heart, ardor and body to him

Now he looks back at me wondering why I cry

The wells of his love for me have finally gone dry

My head is bowed

Pain's fell clutch grips me

Those moments we had together

Will be washed away from my memory

Purged from the scrolls of my life's remembrance

Together with these tears in my hands that I shed for him
