Different and Free

By Angela Khaba:

I may not be the coolest person on earth,

But I'm different

Different enough to accept who I became after birth.

I may not wear all those expensive clothes,

But I’m different.

Different enough to know that clothes do not define me

I may not have all the money in the world,

But I'm different,

Different enough to realize that I don't need money in order to be happy

I may not be good enough for you when you look at me, but I'm different.

Different enough 'cause I just like to be me…and free…

Oh yes!! I am different and I am free ’cause I listen to my words when they

speak me, and not people’s lies when they try to lure me.
