Life and its variables

By Talent Mqongo:

In life, the ones before me believed it all falls into place in time

Restless voices echo through the wind as I struggle to stay in line

The sun rises from the east and sets in the west;

So is the shadow trapped within the invisible human nest

It's daily toil to effect change without being transformed in the end

Be it economical, political, religious or obligatory; we are vulnerable to mend

Like a pit bull running loose in a park without a leash,

Is the precise sensation I get as I fight to go to sleep

Fear is a limited conception without a right to dwell in one’s home

Affection and betrayal among mankind seemingly to be the norm

With no clear indication of coming to an end; life is a clause

Smiles, frowns, tears of both joy and pain regardless of the cause

Symphonic notion in one’s mind at its first glittering appearance

Twitch of the eye and all nerves in search of its relevance

Privileged being the non-humans as they do not need to worry

In a different light or path, I would have made my existence vary.

    Privileged being the non-humans as they do not need to worry
    In a different light or path, I would have made my existence vary” what would you be?inspite of it all i’d still choose to be human
